This couple fell in love with this venue the moment they saw it. It was their dream to have a traditional church wedding, with a Horse & Carriage and a fairytale venue on a clifftop. Polhawn Fort in Cornwall certainly full-filled everything.
It was an October wedding in the height of Autumn with a cool wind, white sky with great visibility across Whitsand Bay. They got married at Maker Church, a few miles away from Polhawn. They arrived and left the church via Horse & Carriage which enabled me to get some stunning aerial footage of them travelling up the long driveway from the church and along the lane. With the surrounding fields providing us with some stunning autumnal colours! Due to the chilly day they had drinks reception in side the Fort which is brimming with cosiness from the fairy lights, log fire and Saxophonist. Although a slight chill in the air the couple were keen to slip down the coast path to the beach for photos. Good job the Groom was more than willing to provide close cuddles to keep the Bride warm in her dress!
It is certainly worth watching this video right to the end to see the party! It all kicked off with the cutting of the cake then playing the Mr & Mrs Game, and on to the first dance. The Groom also whipped out his party moves with preforming the Worm....a good few times after my requests! The party dance moves were amazing. I am not sure if I should give the band all the credit as The Copper Cat bar were also busy shaking up a storm with the cocktails!
