Well I sure did fall in love with Pencarrow Estate on this wedding day, my first visit. In my eyes it is the perfect venue for feeling fancy but also being able to style a wedding to your own unique vision and taste! With the Grand stately house and grounds accompanied by a more rustic walled gardens, marquee, camping area and not forgetting a hidden glitter ball party area in the woods! It has the possibilities to have a grand festival style wedding.
And that is what Leanne + Scott did! I felt so inspired photographing their day from the moment I rocked up. Everything felt creative, alternative and looked beautiful! My creative juices instantly started as soon as I arrived to find Bridal preparations was in a Yurt! The couple then had their ceremony in Pencarrow House in a beautiful old ornate room. Drinks reception was then out of the back of the house including an amazing large fountain and towering greenery around the back doorway. Whilst the guests were then ushered across the grounds to the marquee, myself and the couple went for a stroll about the garden to take some photos. We were then greeted by two bagpipers who paraded us to the marquee through the walled garden resulting in one unforgettable loud entrance into the meal! In the marquee they had styled with a rock'n'roll theme with stunning bright and bold flowers alongside skulls detailing. After the meal and speeches the summer evening turned into fun and games with the bouncy castle, giant Jenga, toy fishing and not forgetting some go old Welly Wanging! Then rock music blared out by Bespoke Disco filled the dance floor for the rest of the night.
